It has been busy spring with lots of varied projects occupying me. Visitors to my Facebook page may well have seen the following image of me next to my large-scale charcoal drawing (approximately five foot square):
December is always a busy month, with a rush of open studios and end of term shenanigans. I did manage to carve out some time between Christmas and New Year to reflect on the year past and the year ahead – you can read more about this on my blog here: flyingcreature.wordpress.com
January proved to be a quiet month, giving me time to start a few things and begin to plan for the year ahead - it looks like it is going to be a busy one!

This is my third year of being Maker of the Month at Concrete Wardrobe on Broughton Street in Edinburgh and it is always nice to do something for the window. I've been toying with the idea of wallpaper design for a while now so I thought this would be a good opportunity to have a go at designing and making my own.
