Winter News

Reflecting on the year just passed is always a good thing to do and an important aspect of being an artist is spending time considering how to move on and develop into the future. My recent blog post discusses some of the highlights of 2013 and below are a few things looking to the year ahead.

Autumn News

As I write this the weather is definitely taking a turn towards autumn, the light has been lovely over the last few weeks and I'm looking forward to lots of migrant birds arriving for winter. As always, there's a lot going on over the next few weeks and months, do get in touch if you'd like to know any more...

Summer News

This finds me at the end of a busy spring season and at the beginning of an equally busy summer so I will try to be concise!

Flying Creatures Exhibition at Leith School of Art

Many thanks to everyone who made the time to come and see this. I'm delighted with how it has gone and it was very nice to see so much of my work shown together in my place of work.

Spring News

It feels strange announcing my Spring News when it is so cold and grey outside, but it must be done!

I have been working hard making new work for the following upcoming exhibitions:

Winter News

Its been a busy few months! I was pleased to have 3 pieces accepted for the annual SWLA exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London during November. This is the first time I have shown with this organisation which showcases wildlife artists, I submitted two of my Bass Rock Gannet monotypes and my Treecreeper screenprint.

Summer News 2012

My stint as Maker of the Month at Concrete Wardrobe in Edinburgh was very successful and I was really pleased to have the opportunity to make a poster for the window - it was interesting seeing my work blown up to this scale. I also collaborated with a friend of mine, Little Red Jewellery, who made some fabulous pieces out of bits taken from some of my discarded screen prints - lovely!

Spring Exhibition News

After a very busy winter period I am now working on a new set of small screenprints taking inspiration once again from British birds and animals. You can see what I've been up to on my blog here: http://flyingcreature.wordpress.com/. The prints will be launched at the Watermill, Little Salkeld on Saturday April 2nd.

I have a couple of pieces in the annual ESSA exhibitions at the RSA here in Edinburgh and my prints are part of a group print show called Print Run at the Outbye Gallery near Pittenweem in Fife.
