As I write this the weather is definitely taking a turn towards autumn, the light has been lovely over the last few weeks and I'm looking forward to lots of migrant birds arriving for winter. It feels strange announcing my Spring News when it is so cold and grey outside, but it must be done!

I have been working hard making new work for the following upcoming exhibitions:

My stint as Maker of the Month at Concrete Wardrobe in Edinburgh was very successful and I was really pleased to have the opportunity to make a poster for the window - it was interesting seeing my work blown up to this scale. I also collaborated with a friend of mine, Little Red Jewellery, who made some fabulous pieces out of bits taken from some of my discarded screen prints - lovely!

I have been busy making work for a number of things over the last couple of months - I have a couple of drawings in the Scottish Drawing Competition at Paisley Museum until Saturday 26th November. They are both charcoal and chalk drawings - one of an amazing moorhen I spotted earlier in the year along the Water of Leith which had made its nest from old bits of Christmas tree, In the Bridge's Shadow.
