One of my favourite birds to work with, Redshanks are such lively creatures to witness feeding along the shoreline with their incredibly vibrant legs and beaks. I wanted to link the bird to the landscape in this print with the shapes and colours around it echoing those within it and reflecting the glimpsed movement of a wader within the dynamic elements of rock and water.
