Made on location on the Isle of May during June 2018. This was my first time seeing the tern colonies on the Isle of May as I am usually there in April. It was wonderful to see these delicate, feisty birds regularly flocking around the harbour area. I was delighted to spend time watching the colony as they noisily brought fish in to feed their young. In this piece I wanted to convey the noise and movement across the whole area.
