Galleries, gardens and greetings cards

Just a quick update to let you know what's been going on with my work over the last couple of months. I have a new gallery showing my work, the lovely Tayberry Gallery in Perth have taken a number of framed and unframed British bird screen prints. You can also find my own artist cards on sale at the Fruitmarket gallery and Caoba in Edinburgh.

I will be teaching two summer school weeks at Leith School of Art this year: The Garden - drawing, printmaking and painting and Nature in Context - drawing and printmaking. Both courses will be suitable for all levels of abilities and I am looking forward to delivering them as I consistently find that my teaching feeds back in interesting ways to my own practice.

Dipper screen print 2010

I am very excited that four of my British bird prints have been used by Museums and Galleries Limited as part of their Art of Print greeting cards series - the images are: Island Chaffinches, Dipper,  Mallards and Coal Tit. Look out for them in shops, galleries and museums from now on.

Looking forward, I am busy working on a new tea towel design, hopefully in time for my stint as Maker of the Month at Concrete Wardrobe in June and as always I continue to build up my prints, including my latest Dunnock screen print at the top of this page. I am currently developing a couple of combined print techniques - results to follow.
