These are unique prints created with oil-based printmaking ink. Ink is rolled onto perspex and then drawn into or rubbed away. Ink is transferred onto high-quality printmaking paper using a rolling press. Many of my monotypes are made up of a number of layers to build up a rich surface of colour and mark. They are one-off prints but often I will make a couple of versions of the same image using ghost layers to build on top of for a second impression.
